Q:

What can I do when the application is just acting screwy?

A:

If Droid Scan is acting unreliably, it may be that your device is low on memory. There is a built-in recovery procedure that will often fix these hard to trace issues:

1 - In Droid Scan, Go to Settings.
2 - Scroll to the very bottom and select the "Soft reset" option.

What if that does not work?

A:

The most drastic recovery method is to uninstall and then reinstall Droid Scan. If you continue to have an issue after doing so, please contact support.
